In 2024, you placed your trust in me to be a voice for all students—a champion for inclusion, accessibility, and disability rights. Together, we’ve made real progress: creating safer, cleaner, and more inclusive schools where every child has a place and a path to succeed.

But our work isn’t finished.

That’s why I’m proud to announce that I’m running for re-election in 2028.

I’m running because every student in San Ysidro still deserves a school system free of excuses for low test grades, waste, fraud, and abuse—and a school district where classrooms, playgrounds, and opportunities are open to all, not just a few. I remain as committed as ever to building schools where no child is left behind because of their abilities.

Over the coming years, we are laying the foundation for change. Now, I’m asking for your support again—to continue what we started, to deepen our impact, and to ensure that the future of San Ysidro remains inclusive and equitable for every student.

As an active parent in San Ysidro, I work to ensure special education rights are respected and that students have access to UDL educational materials. I support parents in understanding their rights and navigating their children’s education.

Our San Ysidro School District serves La Mirada Elementary, Sunset Elementary, Willow Elementary, Ocean View Hills Elementary, San Ysidro Middle School, and Vista del Mar Middle School.
